Alternatively, we can take your sketches or store bought plans and convert them into engineer stamped contruction documents that you can submit for construction permiting.
PURCHASED PLAN CONVERSION
We often work for customers who purchase home plans online. These plans are typically high in quality, ...but that are often from design firms located in Florida, North Carolina, or other states. To be built in Texas, these plans need to be adjusted by the addition of structural pages that assure that the construction will be in accordance with local codes, materials, and design requirements.
A simple example is for a Florida design that is based on CMU (cinder block) wall construction. While maybe common and practical for Florida, this system is neither common or practical for Texas soils, contractors, and humidity levels. In this situation ECO will use the architectural plans as a guide to create AutoCAD based engineer stamped construction plans for foundations with wood framing or alternate block framing system like AAC or ICF. In this way, the look and feel of the architectural plans that you have choosen is not changed, but the construction systems are adjusted to meet Texas requirements or even Green building requirements.

Bada-BIM!...We are working in AutoCAD and also in a new type of CAD design software called Revit 3D 'BIM' (Building Informational Modeling) which allows the CAD operator to create true 3D real time performance BIM designs. There is no need for you to know what BIM is, other than to understand that we believe that this is how future 'advanced' building designs and design documents will probably be created We will let you know when we are BIM proficient!
