FRAME INSPECTION:
We provide digital elevation frame inspection and analysis of existing homes. Homeowners, builders, buyers, and realtors, contact us for fast, professional, and detailed engineering inspection services. Call or email for an example of a typical framing inspection report.

FRAME DESIGN:
We provide both conventional wood frame and alternate frame design following the guidelines provided in the International Residential Code 2003 or 2006 with Texas Revisions.  Wood frame designs typically 2x4 stud and 2x6 construction for residential and light commerical applications. Alternate frame systems include Steel, Structural Insulated Panels (SIP-->), Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), and Concrete Structural Insulated 'sandwich' Panels (C-SIP). Our frame design service includes consultation on venting and advanced insulation systems. For more details click on the 'Green Walls' and 'Green Roof' pages under the Green Design tab.

WIND STORM RESISTANT DESIGN:
All buildings must be designed to withstand the expected wind forces for each building site. Our T.D.I Wind Storm Program engineer is constantly upgrading his understanding of the changes and improvements in wind resistant design. We are constantly attending (multiple sessions in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007) wind storm resistant design training presented by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Texas Department of Insurance, the American Wood Council, and the American Plywood Association organizations. ECO can also provide windstorm resistant design and inspections required to satisfy Texas Department of Insurance Wind Storm program requirements. We support and can provide 'Shelter-In-Place' room or whole home designs for any project (to provide shelter, lights, and water through any event)

Visit the Texas Department of Insurance 'Windstorm' website for more information about windstorm resistant design and engineer inspection programs for your area.
