'Country' does not need to mean 'Traditional'. This plan called 'ECO1' is a dramatic and functional Frank Lloyld Wright inspired 2-story 2500 sf art-deco plan.

The construction method can be either SIP or AAC block walls with wood, steel or SIP roof structure. This plan was developed for a narrow city lot, but it works just as well as a country farm house. This small, comfortable and efficient 2500 sf conditioned space with 1000 sf of covered outdoor work is perfect for the hard working progressive family.

Or maybe after you build your big city house, you need a get-a-way cabin. The 750 sf ECO-CABIN with movable walls becomes your easy access to the fresh country air and cool breezes with outdoor kirchen and dining areas.

PLAN#2: 'ECO-RANCH' is a one-story ranch style home designed to be built out of Structural Insulated Panels. The pier based foundation support a SIP subfloor 4 feet above grade. A three side wrap around porch provide plenty of shady views.

In also has a designed-in rain water harvesting system, making this very traditional look plan actually a twenty first century cutting edge dwelling that will operate on a minimum budget.

This lower energy signature green ranch plan includes both Solar photo-voltaic and wind turbine electric power generation.

Start Small then Add On

PLAN#3: 'ECO-IKE' is our response to a customer who lost a 28' wide x 80' long  manufactured 'double-wide' home to Hurricane Ike. The destruction to the home was complete, but a robust  slab remained.

The the owner will reuse the existing slab for a new 27'6" x 68' green home with optional deck extensions, all built cost effectively above the base flood elevation.

ECO-IKE is a 1870 sf one story 3/2 easy to build, strong, expandable,  energy efficient, solar ready Structural Insulated Panel design on a crawl space foundation.

Will ECO-IKE win a design engineering award? Not likely. But is it an affordable, energy efficient, strong, flood resistant, comfortable, expandable, liveable solution to this home owner's  specific problem? Definitely. That's is what engineer's do - find solutions to problems.
